LEEÇA ST. AUBIN
Arts, Culture & Events · Community Life · Weddings · Portraits
The people we love. The places we belong. the stories worth remembering.
Based in Quebec City, I create honest, documentary-style photographs of weddings, cultural events, and community life.
Behind the Lens
For more than fifteen years, I’ve photographed weddings, families, artists, community projects, and cultural events across Québec and beyond.
My approach is rooted in observation rather than performance. I pay attention to the small gestures, the in-between moments, and the stories unfolding around us. Often, the photographs people treasure most are the ones they never realized were happening until they see them later.
Whether documenting a wedding day, a public exhibition, a family session, or community life, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel honest, alive, and true to the people and moments they represent.
Community Arts & Culture
“I had the pleasure of collaborating with Leeça on several occasions through artistic and educational projects in Québec City, particularly exhibitions that celebrated and showcased student work.
Her artistic sensitivity, attentive eye, and remarkable ability to build meaningful connections among participants make every project a rich and deeply human experience for young people.
Our collaboration has always been marked by her professionalism and her commitment to arts education. These projects have had a significant impact on fostering lasting connections between culture and education in Québec.”
For four years, I have documented artistic, educational and cultural projects throughout Quebec City, working with artists, schools, community organizations and cultural groups.
From student exhibitions and community events to concerts, performances and public gatherings, my approach remains the same: paying attention to the people, relationships and moments that give these projects their meaning.
